Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 125g icing sugar
  • 300g flour
  • 2.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 125ml cream
  • 125ml milk
  • 125ml melted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method

  1. Cream the eggs and 100 g of the sugar in a large bowl until light and creamy.
  2. Cream the eggs and 100 g of the sugar in a large bowl until light and creamy.
  3. Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt to the egg mixture.
  4. Mix the cream, milk and half of the melted butter into the batter.
  5. Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
  6. Heat the pan. Put the remaining butter into the donut hollows and heat.
  7. Spoon the donut dough in the hollows and fry.
  8. Leave some space around the edges to accommodate rising.
  9. Fry the donuts for 3-4 minutes on both sides until brown.
  10. Coat the donuts with the cinnamon sugar mix.
