Ingredients
- 100 g dates, pitted
- 60 g almond butter
- 40 g coconut oil, melted
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 30 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g cherry, pitted
- 10 g walnuts, chopped
- 10 g hazelnut, chopped
- 5 g baking powder
- 2 g salt
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a small baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Soak the pitted dates in warm water for 10 minutes.
In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until they form a sticky paste.
In a mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, melted coconut oil, and date paste.
Add the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Stir until well combined and smooth.
Add chopped walnuts and hazelnuts and stir well.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Place the pitted cherries inside the batter from top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the baking dish for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
