Ingredients
- 30 g coarsely ground coffee
- 400 ml water
- 60 ml Irish whiskey
- 40 g brown sugar
- 120 ml heavy cream
- 20 g maple syrup
- 10 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 10 g instant coffee granules
- Pinch of salt
- Dark chocolate, grated.
Preparation
Brew 30 g coffee with 400 ml water in a coffee machine.
In a small bowl, combine the heavy cream, maple syrup, cocoa powder, instant coffee granules, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined and set aside.
Divide the hot coffee equally between two serving glasses or mugs.
Add 30 ml of Irish whiskey and 20 g of brown sugar to each glass. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Carefully spoon the prepared cocoa and coffee cream mixture over the back of a spoon onto the surface of each drink, creating a layered effect.
Serve with grated dark chocolate on top.
