Ingredients

- 3 eggs
- 125g icing sugar
- 300g flour
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 125ml cream
- 125ml milk
- 125ml melted butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Method
- Cream the eggs and 100 g of the sugar in a large bowl until light and creamy.
- Cream the eggs and 100 g of the sugar in a large bowl until light and creamy.
- Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt to the egg mixture.
- Mix the cream, milk and half of the melted butter into the batter.
- Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Heat the pan. Put the remaining butter into the donut hollows and heat.
- Spoon the donut dough in the hollows and fry.
- Leave some space around the edges to accommodate rising.
- Fry the donuts for 3-4 minutes on both sides until brown.
- Coat the donuts with the cinnamon sugar mix.
